there is time enough for this

sometime before christmas, tickets were ordered for the joffrey ballet at the detroit opera house… and then between building and moving and holidays, were promptly forgotten. luckily, i came across the tickets just in time to catch the show last night. ah, sweet grace.

it was a beautiful show, sometimes lighthearted, sometimes edgy, sometimes deep. there was one particular pas de deux that made it hard to breath. after the rain, choreographed by christopher wheeldon. there is little to compare to seeing it in person, but perhaps you will accept this video offering. let it happen to you, please.
