here's to mondays.

perpetual calender from this old house dress

i could hate mondays. really, i could.

but instead, i like to think of mondays as a new start.

as in, starting this monday, i'm going to be nice & sweet instead of bitter & cranky. 

as in, starting this monday, i'm never going to eat peanut butter straight out of the jar again. and i'm certainly never going to take eat peanut butter & nutella simultaneously out of the jar again.

and starting this monday, i won't swear or curse (even though scientists have proven that it makes me feel better) and i will email my mother every day and never complain about doing the laundry ever again. 

see, mondays are just plain full of the most wonderful possibilities.

 

so here's to monday. it's off to a good start.
