yay! we finally got snow!

all year, and barely a dusting. we're properly covered now.

so i was looking for pictures of snow to illustrate this miraculous occurrence for you

(i haven't had time to go take any myself) and i found this lovely set of snow deer.

i jest. they're albino whitetails! a whole family!

not even the tiniest chance of them wandering into my backyard, but perhaps if i go for a walk in the woods, i could wander into their backyard? a girl can dream...
