one thing our tiny little doll's house does not have
is an entryway.
a place to walk in, drop your bags and hang your hat.

what we do have is a tight landing between two sets of stairs.
it seemed simple enough when looking at the house with a realtor.
of course, a realtor doesn't try to launch him or herself down the stairs at top speed
in an effort to get out the back door. our dogs do.

{ well, two of our dogs do. one waits to be ferried up and down the stairs
as she's cleverly figured out if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time
you're going to get knocked down a flight of stairs by a boisterous german shepherd. }

dreaming of the impossible.
an entryway.

i like this one. even if the glass enclosure seems fairly useless.
it's sunny and bright and i could sit down, turn around and not fall down a flight of stairs.
you know, the little luxuries in life.

  1. so serene - like your own personal reading nook/greenhouse. and not falling down a flight of stairs.. very nice indeed
