feeling rather obsessed with these vintage antlers

i've been listing lately.

i find i'm leaving them all over the house

just so i can enjoy them more.

i offered patrick a pair to use as handlebars

on his mountain bike.

{ he politely declined. }

but my favorite pair

is this little stumpy set.

it is just so

perfectly imperfect,

a little lopsided,

and true to life.

i picture a deer who always looks like

he's about to ask a question.

{ if i had antlers on my head

i think they'd look like these. }

do you have a favorite thing

you love all the more

because it is imperfect?
