bird & bear

just hopping off the studio work table...

a curious little bird. she's super tiny, 4" from tip to tail.

and a brown bear with a belt.
( i considered using the word 'broidered for a fourth "b"
but i just couldn't bring myself to do that to a word. )

i thought a belt was a rather odd accessory for a bear, but after she explained the difficulties of finding any length of thread in the woods, let alone fabric or a needle, it seemed best not to question her.
