two new little birds in the shop.

sometimes they come straight from the field guides, like the cerulean warbler on top.

and sometimes they come from a pleasing combination of fabrics.

(i don't think you'll be finding this little pink bird in your field guides anytime soon.)

these little birds have hand whittled beaks.

i had nothing but an xacto knife to whittle them, but it did its job and all my fingers are still intact.

so, you know, win-win.
