white does make a gorgeous palette. it's like the eggshell in your nest. what's better than white? white on white. a few examples of white done well...
you know when white doesn't work? when you've got three dogs. or one hour of sunlight a day.... on a good day. or when you have no "architecture" to speak of. then white doesn't work so well. and looks more like rental property white instead of blank canvas white.
someday i'll have a little white on white haven, or maybe just a white on white room. but for now it's dog-funk-friendly, dust-bunny-hiding, leave-you-shoes-on-and-carry-wood-in-for-the-fire green, grey and brown.
it's not as bad as it sounds.
