bird & beak

working on the hummingbirds with their long wire beaks

gave me an idea for the beaks of the little sparrows.

and also a solution for the wider, pointier beaks of chickadees and their brethren.

two little birds...

one with the fabric beak (she's for a custom order)

and one with the new experimental wire beak.

i really like how the beak turned out.

she's a cunning little bird, i think.

she'll be in the shop later today.

the newest fox seems to like her too.

i hope he's not hungry.
